An example of
getting things done is how Global
Compact Network Croatia strengthened its collaboration with its national
government through TGE. They invited
Government participation in its local rollout. Government representatives
presented at the local launch and added credibility for TGE to be used as a
recruitment opportunity that’s already led to several new companies joining the
UN Global Compact.
The local
program programmatically built in not only relevant Croatian and EU legislation
that companies were interested in, but also focused on personal goal setting of
women involved in the programme - alongside with company target setting.
Congratulations to Vali for doing a great job advocating and raising awareness
with her monthly articles in one of the biggest croatian business magazines,
using lots of the WEPs tool and TGE covid quiz data to build a local following
for the UN Global Compact.
