Also, the meeting discussed business opportunities for local companies in the field of waste management.

"Employers are an important partner with whom we want to establish a quality dialogue, because only together can we improve the system of environmental protection and regulations that govern it. The Ministry will be a partner to employers and we are open to any suggestions which can improve the system of environmental protection and create prerequisites for the opening of new job places"- said minister Dobrović and pointed out that when creating or changing regulations it is important to have good cooperation with the private sector and experiences of entrepreneurs.

"We welcome the announcement of the Government reforms. As a social partner, our job is to continually build quality cooperation of the Government, institutions and employers. We believe that we have a wealth of experience which we can contribute to creating a more productive society. The department of environmental protection has a lot of room for improvement, especially in increasing the degree of recycling and reuse of raw materials. Resource-efficient society means new jobs and support efforts in this segment begin with the reforms, "- said general director of CEA, Davor Majetić.
The meeting concluded with both parties agreeing on better cooperation in all reform projects which will be implemented by the Ministry.
