A round table in Osijek: Targeted work

30.10.2018.

With the aim of helping to understand employer’s needs in terms of staffing and employer’s guidelines and proposals to modernize vocational school education, a round table was held on the subject: Targeted work on October 30, 2018 in the premises of the Croatian Employers Association of the Regional Office Osijek.

On the round table, representatives of the "Braća Radić" Economics School from Đakovo presented their new educational programs for 5 new professions: hotel and tourist commercialist, computer operator, administrative referent, commercial salesman and project administrator.

CEA Reg. office Osijek has been actively involved in the process of modernizing the education system, questioning the interests of its members through surveys, to bring education closer to employers, that is to say, after having completed secondary education, the staff would have the necessary knowledge and skills to do the job. Through this Round Table, representatives of the School of Economics received concrete proposals and guidelines that required knowledge and skills to employers.

In this way, the CEA is actively working to change the curriculum, and by this way we invite other vocational schools to work with our members to tailor their school program to employers' needs.
